Hello!

Post by PastorBrad »

Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Looks like we have 19 folks in the forum. How about respond to this and let me know how good God has been to you this week? We've committed to only speaking blessing and favor, so what say you?

One of the many things that He has done for me is give me the patience to deal with everything that is going on at this time. It seems like every time I turn around there's a new task to be done whether it is at work, at home or just going to the store and they just seem to keep piling up. With this patience He has given me the ability to actually take out these tasks, not just run and hide from them.

Also a smaller thing that may not mean much to most but was a great help to me. This past weekend I was working on a new desk for our office. Its a three piece desk, one each for Emily and I and then a cabinet in between. This is a continuous desk that goes from one wall of the office all the way to the other. So I built the two main desks and was working on the center cabinet, and of course I was listening to my music and not really paying all that much attention to what I was doing, just kind of in the zone. I built the cabinet and then I cut the piece for the top. Now keep in mind that I bought nice oak wood for the top of this desk, not some cheap plywood and I bought just enough, no extra for mistakes. I didn't think about the grain in the wood prior to cutting my piece but I thought about it afterwards, man I hope that I cut this piece so that the grain pattern continues all the way across the desk. I didn't want the pattern running left to right on our two desks and the pattern on the center cabinet to run front to back. It would have looked really wonky for this to have happened. And of course the cabinet is not perfectly square so it's not like I could have just rotated the top 90 degrees and put it on that way. But by His grace and favor, (you may not think so but it was a big deal to me), the piece was cut out with the proper dimensions, and oriented the correct way. Que a big sigh of relief from me and many outpouring of thanks to Him.

Thats great Stormy! That is a bid deal. If it's important to us, it's important to him. Thanks for all you do for His Kingdom Bro.
